These terms cover how the studio shop works, what you can expect from an order, and where responsibility sits on both sides. They apply to every purchase and enquiry made through this site.
Original canvases, limited-edition giclée prints and small collectible studies, listed by series. Each listing states medium, surface, dimensions and edition size. Where a print is numbered and signed, that is noted on the item page. Availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.
Prices, shipping and any applicable duties are shown before you confirm the cart. Payment is taken at checkout. If a piece sells in the studio before the order is processed, we cancel and refund in full rather than substitute a different work.
Canvas originals ship stretched or rolled, depending on destination and the size of the work; prints travel flat or in a rigid tube. Risk passes to you on delivery. Inspect the packaging before signing and report transit damage within seven days with photographs of the crate and the work.
Unframed prints and greeting card packs may be returned within fourteen days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. Originals, framed pieces and commissioned work are final sale unless they arrive damaged or differ materially from the listing. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the fault is ours.
Commission slots open twice a year. A commission is confirmed once the brief, palette and dimensions are agreed in writing and a deposit is received. Timelines given at that point are estimates; drying and varnishing depend on the medium and the weather in the studio.
Copyright in every painting, study and print remains with the artist. Buying a work gives you ownership of the physical object, not the right to reproduce it, license it or use it commercially. Images on this site may not be copied or redistributed without written permission.
We are responsible for delivering the work described and in the condition stated. We are not liable for indirect losses, including loss of profit or opportunity, arising from a delayed shipment or a cancelled order. Nothing here excludes rights you hold under applicable consumer law.
These terms may be updated as the shop, shipping arrangements or legal requirements change. The version in force is the one published here when you place an order. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
