Getting help with an order or a painting

Most questions about a canvas original, a numbered giclée or a commission come down to timing, condition or paperwork. Below is how to reach the studio and what to expect once you do.

Email the studio

Best for condition reports, edition numbers, framing questions and anything that needs a written record. Attach a photo if a work arrived with a mark on the surface.

Replies within one working day, Monday to Friday.

Call during studio hours

Use the phone for shipping arrangements, stretched versus rolled canvas, or a commission slot that is closing. If the line is busy, the studio is likely at the easel.

+27(53)6232497

Same-day callback if you leave a message before 15:00.

Write to the studio

For returns, provenance certificates or anything that needs to travel by post, use the studio address. Please include your order reference on the envelope.

Response times are measured from the moment your message lands, not from when it is opened. If a question is already covered — edition sizes, shipping of rolled canvases, commission windows — the FAQ answers it faster than a reply.

Reaching the studio

Most questions about a painting, a print edition or a commission can be answered directly. If you are unsure whether a canvas ships stretched or rolled, or which series a work belongs to, write or call and you will get a straight answer rather than a ticket number.

Which channel to use

  • Orders and shipping: email with your order reference, and mention whether the work is a canvas original or a numbered print.
  • Commissions: the list opens twice a year. Email a description of the view or palette you have in mind and you will be told when the next window opens.
  • Editions and provenance: ask about edition size, signing or the certificate that travels with a print.
  • Urgent matters: phone during studio hours. If the line is busy, the studio is likely at the easel and will call back.
